Description
Abbotsbury’s St Catherine’s Chapel is one of my favourite places in West Dorset, particularly for stargazing. On this night in the middle of the peak of the Perseid meteor shower, over the course of ten sky exposures, I captured two large meteors parallel to the Milky Way. The foreground was a ten minute exposure, twice interrupted by other photographers walking down from the chapel shining their torches!
Limited edition mounted prints are printed on high quality Fuji glossy photo paper. Larger prints are available, printed on durable, scratch-proof and weather-proof vinyl, mounted on a 3mm thick aluminium composite board, creating a light, strong and unfussy product.
