High Tide at Hengistbury Head

Description

Having waited over an hour for a bank of cloud to pass over, the Milky Way finally revealed itself above Hengistbury Head during my first visit to this location. The sky is composed of 6x 2 minute exposures at ISO 800, f/4, 14mm with the camera mounted on an iOptron SkyTracker Pro. The foreground was a 8-minute exposure at ISO 400, f/4, 14mm.

Limited edition mounted prints are printed on high quality Fuji glossy photo paper. Larger prints are available, printed on durable, scratch-proof and weather-proof vinyl, mounted on a 3mm thick aluminium composite board, creating a light, strong and unfussy product.
