Sunset at the Ladybower Reservoir Plughole

Having seen plenty of photographs on the internet of the plugholes at the Ladybower Reservoir in the Peak District. When Claire and I went up there camping for a week in late October 2019, we had to check it out! We arrived just in time to catch the remnants of a colourful sunset lighting up the clouds behind the hill we were facing. A long exposure accentuates the rushing water falling down the holes, used to regulate the level of water in the reservoir.

Smaller prints are printed on high quality Fuji matt photo paper. Larger prints are available, printed on durable, scratch-proof and weather-proof vinyl, mounted on a 3mm thick aluminium composite board, creating a light, strong and unfussy product.
