Milky Way above Old Harry Rocks
£150.00 – £750.00
Description
I was never 100% sure that the Milky Way would rise far enough east to be visible above the iconic Old Harry Rocks in Dorset.
I arrived at 4:30am to be greeted with a blanket of clouds. Luckily they quickly passed and the core of the Milky Way was rising due east. After five sets of 8x30s exposures on my Vixen Polarie star tracker, dawn was starting to break, and I quickly captured five further 90s exposures for the foreground.
A4 and limited edition mounted prints are printed on high quality Fuji glossy photo paper. Larger prints are available, printed on durable, scratch-proof and weather-proof vinyl, mounted on a 3mm thick aluminium composite board, creating a light, strong and unfussy product.
