Backlit Durdle Door

Description

Another lesson in perseverance. Having driven through plenty of miles of fog one cold March night, I thought the chances of getting any shots of the stars at Durdle Door were slim. But I walked down, managed to get on to the beach, lo and behold the skies were clear (if a little hazy) and there was a boat in the distance lighting up the horizon. I proceeded to line up the boat and the door opening, and lit the door with my trusty LED Lenser torch. A portrait version of this image was used on the cover of Issue 137 of Digital Photographer Magazine.

All limited edition prints are numbered, with mounted prints titled and numbered on the mount, and aluminium prints titled, numbered and signed on the back.

A4 and limited edition mounted prints are printed on high quality Fuji glossy photo paper. Larger prints are available, printed on durable, scratch-proof and weather-proof vinyl, mounted on a 3mm thick aluminium composite board, creating a light, strong and unfussy product.
