Gold Hill above the Mist The first morning of November 2015 certainly produced a lot of mist! The traditional locations like Colmer's Hill and Corfe Castle were ruled out, so I headed north and headed high. By the time I got to Shaftesbury, the sun had melted through the mist at Gold Hill, but not in the valley below. I had the location all to myself, which was a bonus!
Sunset over Corfe Castle The sun shines through a window in the ruin of Corfe Castle, taken on the evening of 8th March 2014. Mist was rising from saturated ground, warmed by the Spring sunshine earlier in the day.
